Voting Process
Proposal Lifecycle: Once a proposal is submitted, it goes through a review process conducted by the Council members. After the review process, the proposal is then put to a vote.
Voting Duration: Votes are typically open for a set period, usually ranging from 48 to 72 hours. This timeframe allows all members to participate while ensuring decisions are made in a timely manner.
Quorum Requirements: For a vote to be valid, a minimum quorum of 51% must be cast. This quorum ensures that decisions reflect the will of the broader community, not just a small subset of members.
Approval Thresholds: Different types of proposals may require different levels of approval. For example, critical decisions like changes to the DAO’s governance structure might require a higher percentage of affirmative votes compared to routine investment decisions.
